Etche Simplified Youth Wing Backs John Otamiri For Etche LGA Chairmanship

The Etche Simplified Youth Wing has expressed full support for Barr. John Otamiri, the APP chairmanship candidate.

Otamiri is running for Etche Local Government Area chairmanship in the October 5th, 2024, Rivers State local council elections.

Leader of Youths Mobilization, Barr. Chigozie Emem, praised Otamiri’s leadership, humility, and track record, which have boosted the APP’s campaign.

Emem described Otamiri as the ideal leader to bring positive change to Etche LGA.

He emphasized Otamiri’s accountability and strong connection with the people as key reasons for his support.

The Director General of Etche Movement for Good Governance, Chinedu Lebechi, also endorsed Otamiri’s chairmanship bid.

Lebechi hailed Otamiri as the best caretaker chairman Etche had ever seen and pledged full loyalty.

Lebechi noted that his group has started grassroots campaigns across all Etche wards to secure Otamiri’s victory.

Rivers State Commissioner for Employment, Sir Austin Nnadozie, expressed his satisfaction with Otamiri’s nomination.

Nnadozie urged total support for Otamiri, highlighting his positive impact during his short time as caretaker chairman.

Prominent Etche leaders, including Hon. Charles Nworgu, Hon. Samuel Eke, and Dr. Levi Ekenma, echoed the need for unity.

They called on the simplified movement to fully back Otamiri and all APP candidates in the election.

In response, Barr. Otamiri expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout and support from the community.

He promised to remain committed to transparency and good governance if elected as chairman.

Otamiri also urged the youths to stay peaceful and avoid creating divisions within the movement.
